校友简介:

Dr. Bing Wang works as an associate professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Wang has been recruited as an honorary professor at Tongji Hospital for a 2016-2018 term. Dr. Wang is currently leading a research team dedicated to the study of gene and cell-based molecular treatment for musculoskeletal diseases and regenerative medicine. Dr. Wang received his M.D. degree from Tong-Ji Medical School, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Ph.D. degree from the Chinese Academy of Science. Before joining the University of Pittsburgh in 1999, he held an associate professor in the Chinese Academy of Science. Dr. Wang received post-doctoral trainings in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the University of Pittsburgh. Since 2008, he has authored and co-authored 30 peer-reviewed publications, 3 review papers, 5 book chapters, and has published 87 abstracts in international conferences. As an expert in gene therapy, Dr. Wang has several collaborations and participates in the Editorials Boards of several professional journals. He currently serves as deputy editor for the Molecular Therapy Methods & Clinical Development. He also served as a committee member of the American Society of Gene and Cell Therapy -The Musculoskeletal Gene & Cell Therapy, 2010 to 2016.

美国匹兹堡大学医学院骨科副教授以及华中科技大学同济医院名誉教授,主要从事基因、干细胞以及组织工程技术在再生医学方面应用的研究。早年于华中科技大学同济医学院获医学学士学位,随后在中国科学院微生物研究所获分子生物学和病毒学博士学位。毕业后,王教授担任中国科学院武汉病毒所副教授。先后在香港科技大学以及匹兹堡大学从事博士后研究。自2008年以来,王教授已发表同行评议论文30篇(含合作发表),3篇综述,参与编写5本论著,在国际会议上发表了87篇会议摘要。同时,王教授还为多本专业期刊担任编委, 并担任Molecular Therapy Methods & Clinical Development(分子治疗方法与临床开发)杂志副主编。现任美国基因与细胞治疗学会-肌肉骨骼疾病基因和细胞治疗委员会成员(2013-2016)。
