校友简介

Harry Huaxiang Xia, Ph.D., studied at Tongji Medical University. He obtained his Ph.D. degree, and received post-doctoral training at Dublin University, Ireland. He practiced medicine as a gastroenterologist for 5 years at Wuhan Union Hospital and 5 years at Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong. He was a Senior Research Officer at the University of Sydney for 5 years and Assistant Professor at The University of Hong Kong for 6 years. He worked at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation for as a senior scientific medical expert for 8 years. He has published over 170 full articles in medical journals including JAMA, J Natl Cancer Inst, Gastroenterology, Gut, etc. and two books. His research areas include gastroenterology, oncology, infectious diseases, microbiology, and clinical trials. He is serving as an Editor-in-Chief of J Clin Transl Hepatol, Associate Editor-in-Chief of World J Gastroenterol, and academic Editor of Medicine and Gene. He was elected as a Fellowship of American College of Gastroenterology, and is a reviewer of National Natural Science Foundation of China. He was an editorial board member of Aliment Pharmacol Ther and J Gastroenterol Hepatol. He has extensive experience in medical article writing, editing and publication, and medical journal publishing. He is now the president of the Alliance of Scientific Editing in China .

夏华向，哲学博士，毕业于华中科大同济医学院。1994年获爱尔兰都柏林大学微生物专业博士学位。现任华誉出版有限公司（Xia & He Publishing Inc）和美捷登生物科技有限公司（Medjaden）创始人和主席，首都医科大学附属北京友谊医院客座教授、青岛大学附属青岛市市立医院客座教授、广东药科大学附属第一医院客座教授。曾在武汉协和医院和香港玛丽医院作胃肠专科医师，担任过悉尼大学高级研究研究人员、香港大学助理教授和诺华制药公司高级科学医学专家。主要研究领域包括胃肠病学、肿瘤、感染性疾病、微生物学、临床试验等等。现任Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology杂志主编, World Journal of Gastroenterology杂志副主编，Medicine和Gene杂志学术编辑,曾担任Alimentary Pharmacology & Therapeutics和Journal of Gastroenterology & Hepatology编委。是100多家生物医学杂志的特约审稿人，迄今已在JAMA, J Natl Cancer Inst, Gastroenterology, Gut等国内外医学杂志上发表科研论文170余篇，其中SCI论文150余篇，著书2本，参与编写过论著10余部。曾被选为美国胃肠病学会会员，并受邀为国家自然科学基金担任评委。拥有非常丰富的英文医学论文写作、编辑和发表以及期刊出版经验。2016年当选为中国英文科技论文编辑联盟理事长。自2015年担任同济医学院海外校友总会副主席。
