Dr. David Gan is an US Board Certified physician and currently an attending physician at US Army Medical Corp. Dr. Gan is cofounder and Chief Executive Officer of GoNature Bioscience, a biotechnology company concentrates in developing biological therapeutic products and medical devices.

As an US military physician, Dr. Gan was deployed to Afghanistan for the war against terrorism from September 2002 to October 2003. Dr. Gan lead global efforts in rebuilding Afghanistan health system as an US Army Officer and was awarded a Bronze Star Medal for his ‘Exceptionally Meritorious Service’.

Dr. Gan served as an US FDA Senior Medical Officer from 2001 to 2007 at the Center of Drug Evaluation and Research. Dr. Gan was selected for the FDA Senior Executive Training program from 2005 to 2006. In this capacity, Dr. Gan shadowed with senior executives at FDA, including the FDA commissioner, deputy commissioner and different FDA Center Directors; Graduated from the Gorge Washington University Senior Executive Leadership development program; Appointed as the District Director of FDA San Juan District Office; Served as Deputy Division Director of FDA Division of Scientific Investigations. Dr. Gan directed and completed many FDA NDA pre-Approval GCP inspections and reviewed many INDs and NDAs in the therapeutic areas of Oncology, Neurology, Psychiatry, Therapeutic Proteins, and Monoclonal Antibody drug products. Dr. Gan worked in the Pharmaceutical industry from 2007 to 2016, served as global medical director, vice president, global function heads at two Global Pharmaceutical companies.

甘夏格博士1977-1982 就读于同济医学院卫生系。1982-1984任流行病学教研室老师。1985年留学美国杜兰大学（Tulane University), 获得流行病学（Epidemiology) 公共卫生硕士学位（MPH), 及公共卫生博士学位（Dr.PH)。1998-2001: 杜兰大学医学院任住院医师及住院总医师。现为美国执业医师。任美国陆军主治医师。作为一名预备役军医，甘博士于2002年被派往阿富汗代表美国陆军主持阿富汗战后医疗卫生系统重建工作。并兼任阿富汗前国王的保健医生。与WHO,UNICEF等联合国组织合作，协同阿富汗政府重建医疗卫生系统。鉴于甘博士的卓越贡献，美国陆军授予甘博士铜星勋章。甘博士在美国医药食品管理局任资深医学官员多年(2001-2007), 期间参与并主持多项新药(NDA)审批及多项新药临床研究（IND) 的审查。甘博士主持或指导多个新药批准前临床试验(GCP) 实地考察 (inspection)。甘博士于2005年被美国医药食品管理局选择参加FDA为期一年半的（十五名学员）行政主管培训班。在受训期间，甘博士完成George Washington University 资深行政长官培训课程（Senior Executive Development Program)；并由美国医药食品管理局局长，副局长及各中心主管亲自指导 (shadowing)。 在此期间，甘博士被任命为美国医药食品管理局San Juan 分局局长，及FDA 临床试验 (GCP) 监测主管。甘博士在2007-2016期间，先后在两家跨国药业集团公司任全球药物开发安全总监，部门主管及副总裁。甘博士于2017年组建了GoNature生物科学公司，担任首席执行官(CEO)。
